Nuestro profesor de Geografía e Historia, David Benítez, visitó a finales de marzo el ISISS Giuseppe Verdi de Valdobbiadene (Véneto) en la modalidad de «Aprendizaje por Observación» («Job shadowing«). Durante 4 días ha podido conocer otras metodologías didácticas, asistiendo a clases de Historia, Geografía e Historia del Arte en distintos tipo de estudios, como son el Liceo Científico, el Liceo Lingüístico o los Estudios Profesionales de Agraria y de Turismo. La temática de las clases ha sido muy variada: etruscos, romanos, Carlos V, la Segunda Guerra Mundial, sostenibilidad, Van Gogh o Picasso, entre otros.
Además de asistir a las clases y aprender sobre la organización del sistema educativo italiano (Primaria, desde los 6 hasta los 12; Media, desde los 12 hasta los 14; Superior, desde los 14 hasta los 19), visitó, junto con profesorado local, algunos de los principales atractivos culturales de la zona, como el Museo Gypsotheca de Antonio Canova, en Possagno (donde se encuentra su casa natal y taller).
Como curiosidad, decir que, en 2019, las colinas del Prosecco de la localidad de Valdobbiadene fueron declaradas Patrimonio Mundial de la UNESCO por haberse creado un entorno único gracias al trabajo de los viticultores.
IES SIERRA NEVADA´S TEACHER VISITED AN ITALIAN CENTER IN A JOB SHADOWING MOBILITY
Our Geography and History teacher, David Benítez, visited the ISISS Giuseppe Verdi in Valdobbiadene (Veneto) in a job shadowing mobility. For 4 days he was able to learn about other teaching methodologies, attending History, Geography, and Art History classes in different types of studies, such as the Scientific Lyceum, the Linguistic Lyceum or the Professional Studies of Agriculture and Tourism. The topics of the lessons were quite varied: Etruscans, Romans, Charles V, World War II, sustainability, Van Gogh or Picasso.
In addition to attending lessons and learning about the organisation of the Italian education system (Primary, from 6 to 12; Middle, from 12 to 14; Secondary, from 14 to 19), he visited, along with local teachers, some of the main cultural attractions in the area, such as the Antonio Canova Gypsotheca Museum in Possagno, where his birthplace and workshop are located.
Interestingly, in 2019, the Prosecco hills of the town of Valdobbiadene were declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site for having created a unique environment thanks to the work of the winegrowers.
